ACCIDENT PREVENTION RULES

It is the intent of management to provide its employees with a safe and healthful work environment. To achieve this goal, we ask for your help and cooperation in the following: |

| 2. | Use and keep in a safe condition any personal protective equipment and tools provided for your particular job. |
|||||
| 3. | Wear safe and sensible clothing for your work. |
|||||
| 4. | Jewelry such as earrings, watches, key chains, identification bracelets and finger rings may be caught on a tool or piece of equipment and result in injury; therefore, they must not be worn while working around moving machinery. |
|||||
| 5. | Hair should be cut reasonably short and/or hair protection must be worn by men and women while working around moving machinery. |
|||||
| 6. | Employees who are under the influence of intoxicants or drugs on the premises will be subject to immediate dismissal. Employees who are under prescribed medication shall advise their supervisor. |

| 8. | Do not smoke in areas which are designated as non-smoking are |
|||||
| 9. | Use the correct method of lifting objects---let your legs do the lifting, not your back. Ask for assistance when lifting very heavy or awkward objects. |
|||||
| 10. | Do not climb on boxes, equipment or materials. use ladders provided. |
|||||
| 11. | Assist in maintaining good housekeeping in your work area by cleaning up scrap, oil, grease, water, etc. before they accumulate and create a source of an accident. |

| 12. | Do not block aisles, exits, fire doors, or fire fighting equipment. |
|||||
| 13. | Report all unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately. |
|||||
| 14. | Do not start or operate equipment without proper authority and safety instructions. |
|||||
| 15. | Do not oil, clean, repair or make adjustments on moving machinery or equipment. |
|||||
| 16. | Do not tamper with, render inoperative, or remove guards or other devices from machinery or equipment unless authorized to do so by your supervisor. |
|||||
| 17. | Do not remove danger tags from machinery. No warning notices or barricades may be moved or removed without authorization. |
|||||
| 18. | Abuse, misuse or deliberate destruction of company property, equipment, tools or materials will not be tolerated. |
|||||
| 19. | Do not open switch boxes, electric control cabinets or make electrical repairs or replace fuses unless authorized to do so by your supervisor. Do not use electric tools or appliances without proper grounding. Do not let electrical cords lie on the floor where they may become damaged or be a tripping hazard. |
|||||
| 20. | Do not use flammable liquids, toxic materials, chemicals and acids unless so authorized by your supervisor. When using such materials, follow established precautions. |
|||||
| 21. | Report all fires immediately. |
|||||
| 22. | Report all accidents and injuries to your supervisor. |
|||||
| 23. | Indifference or intention to safety instructions and rules, uncontrolled temper, fighting on company property, failure to protect your own and fellow employee's safety, horseplay, teasing or distracting employees, running, taking shortcuts in the performance of your work, and throwing objects are all potential sources of accidents. Such actions will not be tolerated. |
