Superintendent
With over 30 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Colby Hand brings a deep understanding of field operations and equipment management. Starting his career working summers in high school and throughout college, he has developed a strong, result-driven approach to problem-solving. As a Superintendent with Hand Construction for over 15 years, Colby is known for his leadership, expertise in equipment operation, and ability to get the job done. He is well respected by subcontractors and workers in the field due to his hands-on approach. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, pursuing his passion for hunting and fishing.

Prior to joining Hand Construction as CFO, Adam spent ten years in the banking industry serving in various roles of commercial lending. During this time he participated in the formation of a bank as well as the successful merger and re-branding of another institution.
Adam holds a Master of Business Administration degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and multiple professional designations and licenses in the banking and investment fields. He has been actively involved with multiple nonprofit and charity organizations over the years and currently enjoys the opportunity of serving on the VOA’s finance committee.
Adam attended high school at Mandeville High in Mandeville, LA. Prior to attending college in Baton Rouge, he served in the United States Marine Corps at duty stations in San Diego, CA and Pensacola, FL. Adam returned to Shreveport in 2003 where he currently lives
with his wife and two children.
